LAST CARNIVAL OF THE SEASON COMPLETED

BRANCH CHAMPIONSHIPS POINT SCORE

Authored by: Garry Howe

It was fantastic to see the large number of North Coast competitors who turned out for our Branch Carnival held at Woolgoolga Beach. Initially we started on the 12 February 2023, however due to the large surf conditions we were only able to get through the beach events on that date.  Despite this, a large percentage of competitors returned last Sunday, 12 March 2023, to complete the remainder of the program including all the water events.

With such large numbers it was great to see our limited officials pull together to get through the program. With surf sports growing in our Branch, it would be fantastic to see our official numbers grow so that we can continue to deliver surf sports carnivals.

Congratulations to all who competed. There was some exhilarating racing with some close results which was fantastic for the crowd to watch.
