JLOTY AND YOMS

Authored by: Patrick Mullan

Always a key milestone in developing our future members is our Junior Lifesaver of the Year (JLOTY). All Club representatives should be proud of their achievements and we look forward to seeing their future contributions to our movement.

Congratulations to our 2022-23 Newcastle Permanent Junior Lifesavers, Lillian Lougher (Minnie Water-Wooli) and Ned O’Donnell (Urunga). Good luck at the State interviews and enjoy the experience!

Additionally, North Coast Branch has continued its strong representation at the 15-17 Youth Opportunity Makers (YOMS) workshop program. Congratulations and all the best to Lily-Grace Herden, Cohen Franklin, Xavier Hulbert and Payton Lawler (Coffs Harbour). We hope you enjoy the experience and we look forward to seeing your lifesaving development on your return.

Our Branch is also contributing to the facilitation teams for both programs with Ashleigh Slater on the JLOTY program and Patrick Mullan coordinating the YOM program.
