FIRST PATROL OF THE SEASON, 25 SEP 22

AUTHORED BY ANNA CLARK: Patrol number 2 for the season and we have had our first rescue.

Patrol members were patrolling at the waters edge whilst swimmers were in the water. These patrol member noticed two swimmers get caught in a southerly current which quickly swept them out of their depth, and they were unable to swim themselves to safety.

Mark Yager entered the water and completed a double tube rescue of the two swimmers. Nikita and Shaneeka quickly grabbed a tube each and assisted the swimmers from the water.

Congratulations to our patrolling members for volunteering to keep swimmers safe. Well done!
